My Advert

The psychographic audience for my advert are people that have coloured their hair (dyed) and don't want the colour to fade quickly or go dull when the colour runs when they wash their hair. This audience will also be people who are fashion conscious and invested in looking good and like to be in the spot light and for people to see them. The demographic audience would be mid-earners who want to protect their fancy new investment.
In my advert the non-verbal communication appeals to he audience because it looks like the bottle has a spot light on it but under the water which implies that it won't wash away. It also looks like the spot light is actually shining on the bottle as if the product itself is shining. There are connotations of space because of the bubbles against the background resembling stars. The pearls imply that the shampoo is fancy equivalent to other upper class shampoos as its a well knows brand, it also looks like part of a pearl necklace which shows expense, class and full of richness. The hands look like they are praising the shampoo bottle as if its the most amazing thing in the world. They also show elegance and it looks like the bottle is floating just above the hands like its a magic trick. The bubbles in the back ground show that its underwater like you are when you wash your hair. The also have connotations of the shampoo being light and no weighing your hair down when applying it so smoothen and cleanse your hair. The writing at the top is curved, the font looks fancy which will appeal more to the famine/ female audience as the advert will attract them more. This advert is targeted at females who dye their hair regularly and like to invest into their hair.
